Omar Thibeaux is the founder of The Thibeaux Firm and has practiced law in Louisiana since 2002, giving him more than 24 years of legal experience. A lifelong Lafayette resident, he attended Northside High School and the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, then earned his J.D. from Southern University Law Center in Baton Rouge. He is licensed by the Louisiana State Bar Association (Bar No. 28247).
Attorney Thibeaux now focuses on personal injury law, representing victims of car, truck, motorcycle, and bus accidents, catastrophic injuries, and wrongful death across Louisiana. He created “The 25% Attorney” model, which caps legal fees at 25% of the compensation recovered, so clients keep more of their settlement. His results include a $750,000 trucking accident recovery and a $90,000 bus accident recovery. His broader legal background covers real estate, successions, corporate law, criminal defense, and criminal prosecution, and he is a member of the American Land Title Association (ALTA) and the Louisiana Land Title Association.
Outside the office, Attorney Thibeaux is the Senior Pastor of Philadelphia Christian Church, which he founded in Lafayette in 2007. He has been married to Dr. Chantelle Daniel Thibeaux since 2000, and they have three children.
